Clynecta ("Clynecta", "we", "us") provides clinic and healthcare practice management software and the patient booking experience used by the clinics on our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Clynecta or booking an appointment through a clinic that uses Clynecta, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, phone, and (for staff) role and clinic affiliation.
- Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google to create or access your account. We do not receive your Google password.
- Appointment & health information: bookings, consultation details, and clinical records you or your clinic provide.
- Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Razorpay); we store transaction references, not card numbers.
- Technical data: device, browser, and usage information needed to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate sign-in.
- To schedule, confirm, and manage appointments and send confirmations (e.g. email).
- To enable clinics to deliver care and maintain records.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service and comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How information is shared
- With your clinic: appointments and records you create are accessible to the clinic and its authorised staff providing your care.
- Service providers: infrastructure, email (Resend), and payments (Razorpay) act on our behalf under contract.
- Legal: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
4. Google user data
When you choose "Sign in with Google", Clynecta's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google profile and email data only to create and access your Clynecta account and never sell it or use it for advertising.
5. Data security & retention
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.
